Web Based Turnin for Eclipse Projects

Note: Before you  turn in your first project, you must set up a Windows Account from the Computer Science Department.  Make sure you have logged in at least once in 930GS) and remember your user name and password (the things you needed to log in)

Name your Eclipse project like this for the first turnin 1_Mark_Jane_Doe
1 is Project 1, iteration 1. Mark is your section leader, The student's name is Jane Doe
If you do not have the correct project name, change it now with these steps (otherwise skip)
Right click on your project name
Select Refactor > Rename
Type in the ProjectNumber_YourFirstName_YourLastName
Click Okay
Create an archive (zip) file from Eclipse and use the Turn in web site with these steps
From Eclipse, right click on the project name (as in 1_1_Jessica_Chris_Rawlins)
Select Export > Archive file > Next

 
Select the destination folder, Desktop perhaps, and type in a file name typed just like your project (something like 1_1_Jessica_Chris_Rawlins.zip)

 

 
Click Finish

 

Go to the Web-based turnin page at https://lectura.cs.arizona.edu/turnin/ and fill in the input boxes
Specify the folder name where your project will be stored with the same name as your project; for example 1_1_Jessica_Chris_Rawlins)
Select your course number, Files to turn in as 1 and click Continue
Browse to and select the zipped folder you created. Click Open
Enter your login name and your password when prompted
Click Upload files
You should see that you uploaded two files. If not try again.

Note: Subsequent submissions will overwrite the zip file in your folder without warning. This is the way to submit a newer version of an earlier turnin if you need to do that. The existing zip file will be replaced by the newer version. You may do this many times.
