For the first time in a long time, I gave a final on which no student was able to earn an 'A'. When 49 people take a final, and no one gets at least 90%, I figure I deserve some blame. So, to set the world right, I've dropped the letter grade cut-offs from the standard 89.5, 79.5, etc., to 87.0, 77.0, etc., which covers not only the final, but any reasonable effect a higher final score would have on someone's lowest midterm, too. For those of you near but below a cut-off, rest assured that I reviewed your final to verify that it was graded reasonably and totaled accurately.
