CSc 352 -- Regrade Information
General Information
- A re-grade has to be initiated within one week of the return of the assignment.
- For assignments returned within the last week of the semester the deadline is February 13, 2009.
- To request a regrade:
- Use the turnin command for the assignment to submit the file(s) for regrading. This will not overwrite your original turnin.
- Send an email to cs352fall08@cs to request the regrade.
- The points that can be returned for
correcting failed test cases is determined as a percentage of the
lines of shell script or C code in the corrected solution. The
percentage does not count comments or blank lines.
- Change <= 2% of the code: 90% of the points can be returned.
- Change <= 10% of the code: 70% of the points can be returned.
- Change <= 25% of the code: 50% of the points can be returned.
- No points will be returned if > 25% of the code had to be changed.
- For scripts or programs that have < 100 lines, see the specifics for that assignment below.
- Points lost due to items other than failing test cases cannot be
regained on a regrade. Examples include:
- Comments or style.
- Compiling without errors or warnings.
- Use of malloc and free.
