Course Overview

CSc630 is an advanced graduate-level course in database systems.
This course investigates recent and on-going research issues
with its focus on emerging database technologies and applications
rather than traditional ones.
The specific topics for this year will be (1) storage and database systems
based on novel storage media such as flash memory and storage class memory,
and (2) indexing, querying and selective dissemination of XML data.
