This page lists some of the web-based services available within the CS department for managing your accounts.
For authentication you will usually need the last 6 digits of your CSID. For more information, see the CSID Request Form.
- Compute my CSID
- Apply for a NEW account on the CS systems (only one account per person)
- Re-activate an existing but closed account on the CS systems (non-majors)
- UPDATE this semester's class registration information on my open CS account
- RENEW an ALUMNI account
- Change an ALUMNI account email forwarding address
- Request an ALUMNI account administrative password.
- Reset my forgotten Unix password (/usr/bin/passwd on lectura)
- Reset my forgotten Windows password (ctrl-alt-del - change password)
- Change my default Unix shell (bash/tcsh/ksh)
- Register an ethernet MAC address on the CS network (DHCP)
- Manage my already registered MAC addresses (list/renew/delete)
- Create a Unix GROUP (CVS area and MySQL database) on the CS network
- Manage Unix GROUPS that I have sponsored (list/renew/delete)
- EDIT Unix GROUPS that I have sponsored
- Create a CVS area for an existing Unix GROUP on the CS network
- Create a MySQL database for an existing Unix GROUP on the CS network
- Create a temporary CS email alias (staff only)
- Delete a temporary CS email alias that you created (staff only)
- Report a summary of my account status/settings
- Which CS Windows systems am I currently logged on to ?
- Show Whats-in-Use?, a graphical view of current status of GS computer labs
- Show the Computing Status Board which displays the status of key systems
