Registration Procedures for CS Majors

FOR COMPUTER SCIENCE AND PRE-COMPUTER SCIENCE MAJORS:

All computer science courses will be available on WebReg. You may register during your priority time slot on either Saturday or Sunday and throughout the remainder of your priority week. House-numbered courses C SC *99 - *99 will still require in-person registration in the department Academic Services Office, Gould-Simpson room 901.

Please note that you MUST REGISTER DURING YOUR UNIVERSITY-DESIGNATED PRIORITY WEEK. If you miss your week, you will be unable to access computer science courses until WebReg reopens for open registration on April 26, 2008. If a course is full at the time that you attempt registration, you can add yourself to the online waiting list on August 1, 2008. Adding your name to the waiting list does not guarantee you a seat in your desired course.

Pre-computer science majors are NOT eligible to register for C SC 352, 372 or any 400-level CS courses. If you add your name to the waiting list for any of these courses it will be removed.

*Note to new UA students: All students, both graduate and undergraduate, who will be attending the UA for the first time in Fall 2008 must attend an orientation program or meeting prior to registering for classes. Contact the CS Academic Services Office for more information.
