Registration Procedures for CS Minors

For Computer Science Minors:

All computer science courses will be available on WebReg.  You may register during your priority time slot on either Saturday or Sunday and throughout the remainder of your priority week.  House-numbered courses C SC *90 - *99 will still require in-person registration in the department Academic Services Office, Gould-Simpson room 901.

Please note that you MUST REGISTER DURING YOUR UNIVERSITY-DESIGNATED PRIORITY WEEK.   If you miss your week, you will be unable to access computer science courses until WebReg reopens for open registration on April 26, 2008.  If a course is full at the time that you attempt registration, you can add yourself to the online waiting list on August 1, 2008.  Adding your name to the waiting list does not guarantee you a seat in your desired course.

*Note to Computer Engineering majors with a Computer Science minor.  You are able to fulfill the requirements for your CS minor simply by completing the courses required for your major.  Because of this, you will not have priority in registering for CS courses.  You may be dropped from CS courses in order to accommodate students who need the courses in order to finish their programs.  Specifically, during priority registration, any Computer Engineering major with a Computer Science minor who registers for C SC 335  (a very high –demand course) will automatically be dropped to accommodate other students who need the course.  Please add your name to the waiting list for this course when it opens on August 1, 2008.
