The letters of recommendation will be submitted by your letter writers online to insure proper receipt of this confidential letter from each of your recommenders. When submitting your online application you will be asked for your recommender's information, such as name, institution, and email address. The recommenders will be sent an email with information on how to submit your letter directly to the university. Each writer also has the option of sending his/her letter directly to this department but we highly recommend that the letters be submitted online.

Each applicant will need to submit GRE test scores and international applicants must also submit a valid TOEFL score. These documents can either be uploaded as part of your application or sent directly to the University by ETS (code for UA is 4832).
Statement of Purpose
This is your opportunity to tell us about you and why you would make an excellent addition to our program. Please write a one page summary of why you would like to attend graduate school in our department and what areas of computer science you are specifically interested in studying. If you have research experience or published papers please include those details.
Transcripts
To streamline the application process, The University of Arizona will accept a scanned version of your official transcripts for application purposes. You are required to submit a scanned transcript from each college or university you have previously attended or are currently attending. Please be sure to scan the key to your transcript to ensure that we are aware of the grading scheme used by the institution.
If admitted, an official transcript will be required upon enrollment at The University of Arizona. An official transcript is one that has been officially issued by an institution and received in an envelope sealed by the issuing institution. The transcript will contain the official school seal or stamp and the signature of the Registrar.
