MS core-competency requirement for MS graduation requirements

To graduate with an MS in Computer Science, the student must satisfy the following requirements.

Core area competency

In all six courses that satisfy the graduate core requirements the student must achieve the grade of at least B.

Colloquium attendance

The student must receive the grade of at least P in CSc 695A. (To earn a P, the student must attend at least ten Computer Science Research Colloquia during their MS program.) Registration for C SC695A is to take place during the students final semester of study. The attendance requirement can be fullfilled at any time during the time of study within the department. The student is required to fill out and submit an colloquium attendance sheet each time they attend the colloquia. Failure to submit the attendance slip will result in the student not receiving credit for the attended talk.

The Graduate College also requires a minimum 3.0 GPA.
