Industrial Partners
Overview
Thank you for visiting the Industrial Partners' web page. The objective of the Industrial Partners program is to foster a closer relationship between the Department of Computer Science and companies that employ our students and/or have common research interests. The benefits to companies are the opportunity to influence our research and educational programs, to have ready access to our outstanding students, and to interact with faculty on technical issues of mutual interest. The benefits to the Department are learning about current problems and issues faced by industry and having additional financial resources to support our students and programs. Benefits to Industrial Partners
- Participate in the annual Industrial Partners day (beginning in fall 2008), which will feature research overviews by faculty, in-depth presentations and demonstrations by students of current projects, working sessions on common technical issues, and opportunities to interview prospective employees
- Receive preferential posting of internship and employment opportunities, with your company’s logo, on our departmental web site
- Host seminars by faculty members at the Industrial Partner’s site (upon request)
- Receive logistical support from the Department for recruiting events
