    • I won the NSF CAREER award (2004), to work on "Pattern Matching, Realistic Input Models and Sensor Placement. Useful Algorithms in Computational Geometry." I am on the editorial board of IJCGA. I was a program committee member of SoCG05, Broadnets06, Broadnets07, ICC WAS ACM GIS 2007, ACM GIS 2008, Broadnets08, ALGOSENSORS 2008 and INFOCOM09. I was also the local organization chair of SoCG06, that took place in Sedona in 2006. You can find more material about geometry and Sedona here.
