Web-based Services available in the Computer Science Department

      This page lists some of the web-based services available within the CS department for managing your accounts.

      For authentication you will usually need the last 6 digits of your CSID.
      STUDENTS - your CSID is a 9-digit number generated from your University of Arizona Student ID.
      Faculty and Staff - your CSID is set manually.       For more information, see CSID Request Form.

Compute my CSID

Restart the daemon on a non-responsive CS printer
Obtain a license to use TextPad on a home computer
MSDNAA ELMS account application

Apply for a NEW account on the CS systems (only one account per person)
Re-activate an existing but closed account on the CS systems (non-majors)
UPDATE the current semesters class registration information on my open CS account
CSc ALUMNI account annual renewal

Reset my UNIX password back to the CAPITALIZED first 6-characters of my UA SID
Reset my Microsoft Windows password back to the CAPITALIZED first 6-characters of my UA SID
Change my default UNIX shell (bash/tcsh/ksh)
set or change my email .FORWARD for mail forwarding

Register an ethernet MAC address on the CS Main or Sandbox network (DHCP)
Manage my already registered MAC addresses (list/renew/delete)

Create a unix GROUP ( CVS area and MySQL database ) on the CS network
Manage unix GROUPS that I have sponsored (list/renew/delete)
EDIT unix GROUPS that I have sponsored
Create a CVS area for an existing unix GROUP on the CS network
