Biography

I graduated from the University of Arizona in December 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with high honors (Magna Cum Laude).
I have a strong passion for software engineering, robotics, and pure computer science theory, as well as in world history, art, and music.

Projects

Below are some projects that I have authored or co-authored. Feel free to check them out. However, all rights are reserved.

Maverik: see your pictures in a slide show
I developed this program to view my pictures in a slide show and to view them while the monitor is not being used (ie. as a screensaver) as well.
Written in: Visual Basic 6.0
Tested in: Windows 98, 98SE, XP.
Download here.

Maverik Extended: see your pictures in a slide show while listening to music
This is an extension of the original Maverik that enables music to be organized into playlists so that you can listen to your favorite songs while you watch the slideshow.
Written in: C and Visual Basic 6.
Tested in: Windows 98, 98SE, XP.
Download here.

Traffic: infrastructure builder and traffic simulator
I designed and co-authored this large-scale project for the CSc 436 class which is Software Engineering. It consists of an editor that allows you to create roads and intersections (the infrastructure) and also consists of a simulator that allows you to simulate vehicle traffic on the map that you created. Although it is not complete, what our team was able to accomplish surpassed the expectations of the teacher, the class, and even ourselves.
Note: this version is not the original version for the class. I improved that original version and corrected many mistakes. This version allows for straight roads to connect to intersections and straight roads to connect with other straight roads. Curve roads will be available in a future version.
Written in: Java. You need at least version 5 of the runtime environment to run it. Download here.
