The Artificial Intelligence Lab (http://www.ai.arizona.edu)
at the Eller College of Management is seeking a part time research assistant with both excellent technical and communication skills. The AI Lab is an internationally recognized research group in the areas of digital libraries, intelligent retrieval, collaborative computing, knowledge management, medical informatics, and security informatics.

This position requires strong programming knowledge, database knowledge, and networking knowledge. An ideal candidate is a Masters or PhD level student in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields graduating in May or Fall of 2009.

Preferred knowledge/skills:

- Comfortable in HTML/CSS, javascript and JSP

- SQL Programming, SQL Server 2005 Administration

- Experience with C, C++, and Java

- Knowledge about Web programming, network protocols, spidering techniques

- Familiar with Windows Server Systems.

- Knowledge in system development lifecycle
