What is GroupThinx?
GroupThinx LLC is a Web2.0 development company specializing in community, data aggregation, and business tools. As IT solutions become more light-weight and internet-based, organizations and businesses will be able to adapted more easily and collaborate more effectively. Our company’s mission is to find new ways to develop and leverage online community tools that will unlock the power of teams and the business value of virtual organizations.
GroupThinx LLC was founded in 2006 by business partners Louis Echevarria (CEO) and Daniel Sherman (COO). GroupThinx is based in Tucson, AZ but can support web development projects worldwide. We are currently looking for programmers to develop Facebook applications. Each programmer is free to create and develop his/her own application ideas or work on any number of existing GroupThinx projects. GroupThinx provides a free infrastructure for web development that will allow independent programmers to take their ideas from concept to completion without any of the ‘busy’ work. Each programmer can concentrate on what they love to do most (PROGRAM!!). Make money! GroupThinx Progammers will be paid a flat fee of $50 for their first approved Facebook application in addition to a percentage of any ad revenue generated by their applications. Not only will they make money learning how to build Facebook applications, but continue to make money once they are published. Base Pay For the first application a programmer submits, they will be paid $50 upon approval of final application.
Commission Pay Commission will be calculated based on the effective cost per thousand impressions (eCPM) of the application. We will track eCPM for all GroupThinx applications along with the number of impressions each individual application receives. Tracking these two statistics, we will determine how much revenue each application makes, of which the programmer will receive a 50% commission.
What you need!
The following skills define what would be needed to develop a Facebook application. If these skills are not currently present, we can provide tutorials, how-tos, and guidance as long as you have a passion to learn. Recommended Skills: php4.0, MySQL5.0, HTML/CSS. Additional Skills: JavaScript, AJAX, XML. Facebook interfaces (FQL, FBML).
Programmers can work from anywhere. The only requirement we have is that they can respond to emails. There is no hourly requirement or set schedule. Programmers can define their own schedule to best fit when they have the time to work. GroupThinx has an extensive API that is geared towards making the development process of Facebook applications simple and easy for any programmer. We also have practical experience developing Facebook applications along with dozens of tutorials which can be used to help each programmer realize the value of their unique creative vision. We provide a business back end that allows programmers to generate advertising revenue, utilize viral marketing, and use an enterprise level code repository system.
