Job Description:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing desktop, systems, and application support to end-users via email, phone, or in person
  • Writing user manuals and documentation
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Linux and Windows server administration, such as installing operating systems, creating accounts, file sharing, networking, troubleshooting, performing backups and restores, and hardware and software maintenance
  • Installation and configuration of open-source software
  • Qualifications:
  • Must have an excellent customer service attitude
  • Prior desktop and application support experience is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Unix and Mac OS X experience is preferred
  • Must have demonstrated experience with Linux administration or other UNIX variant
  • Must have a strong understanding of systems and networking concepts
  • Must have an excellent customer service attitude
  • Work Hours15-20 hours per week, Flexible schedule between 8am - 5pm
