Undergraduate Research
Participation in undergraduate research is one of the best ways to get
involved in the department, get to know your professors, and explore areas of
academic interest. The University of Arizona is a Research I university, and
opportunities to get involved in hands-on research are available. Students who
engage in research can earn academic credit, and also gain a real professional
edge when applying to graduate school or for jobs after graduation. Contact
your advisor for more information about getting involved in research.
