Boy, this paper really sucks! I don't understand anything of what
is going on in class!

Yeah, I agree, I'm totally lost too.
I'm thinking about reading the text book, but I think that would be going to far.

I think the Study Guide is poorly written. Compared to what
we had last year in 07.100 and 07.105, specific topics to be covered and respective dates of exams/written tests are clearly written out in a scheduled format. I think it would help a lot if the Study Guide was a little bit more informative than it's current state. IMHO, I think lectures are poorly carried out too. I would really appreciate it if it were more organize and less dragging. I couldn't understand what's going on since the start of the lectures. I think 07.231 would be a stereo typical case of what happened to 07.105 last year (I hope I've not spoken too soon), when a good lecturer came along to patch things which the previous "lecturer" wrecked (you and I all know who he is), it was already at the end of the term and it was already too late. No wonder there was a high mortality rate of 07.231 students in 1994.

Two matters; Firstly modem access for 2nd years. This would be nice should money permit some time in the future.
The second matter regards languages and portably of code. I have already been to the dept. about this, but would like to ask again with a suggestion.

Modem access would really be an improvement. If that's not
possible what about freeing up telnet access from other sites? And how about distributing the ua.* newsgroups more widely. The idea of the Internet is to share information, but Auckland University (with the exception of these WWW pages) seems to cut itself off. I'm not sure of the security concerns involved, but other sites cope with telnet.

I just want to know how to download the answer for the quiz from Netscape.
I am using WWW by a stage I machine in the UGL
None of the guitar songs play. The documents under the choice of examination, test cannot be read. -- To be precise, I do not know how to download the documents. Can you change the format of your files to a more user friendly format?
Dear Christain,
Could you please give me 1993 exam paper?
Say, what happened to the provisional exam marks for this
paper? I've got all my OTHER exam marks and NONE of them were for HALF year papers! Surely they must have finished marking the exams by NOW...(3-4 months down the track). Is anybody reading this stuff now the year's over?
