John is a Computing Manager - Principal and a member of the Laboratory Staff (aka "Lab"). Including John, the lab staff is composed of seven full-time members and one student worker. All staff members can be reached via e-mail to lab@CS.Arizona.EDU.

Although John is originally from New York City, he has lived in Arizona since the sixties (which makes him pretty much of a native in this state) and in Tucson for the last 25 years. He graduated from The University of Arizona earning a B.A. With Distinction in Psychology/Mathematics (1975), an M.A in Educational Psychology (1978), and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology/Statistics (1986). He has been working in the Department of Computer Science since 1986. Previously he worked as manager of Networking and Communications in the Center For Computing and Information Technology (CCIT).
