Fourth International Workshop on Dynamic Analysis (WODA 2006) Shanghai, China Tuesday, May 23, 2006 Early Registration Deadline: April 10, 2006 Co-located with 28^th International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE 2006). WODA 2006 brings together researchers and practitioners working in all areas of dynamic analysis. Dynamic analysis techniques reason over program executions and show promise in aiding the development of robust and reliable large-scale systems. It has become increasingly clear that limitations of static analysis can be overcome by integrating static and dynamic analyses, and that the performance and value of dynamic analysis can be improved by static analysis. Hence, in addition to dynamic program analysis, a key focus of the workshop will be on hybrid analyses that involve both static and dynamic components. Paper submissions are invited on (but not limited to) the following topics: applications of statistics/data mining/machine learning to dynamic analysis, profiling, dynamic slicing, hybrid analysis, testing, runtime monitoring, fault detection and debugging, capture/replay, impact analysis, security, remote analysis and measurement, optimization techniques, performance analysis, empirical studies, tools and frameworks for dynamic analysis, usage analysis and visualization of dynamic behavior of software. The accepted papers will appear in the workshop proceedings published by the ACM Press. The workshop proceedings will be bundled together with the ICSE conference proceedings and distributed on-site together with the ICSE proceedings via USB-Stick or CD-ROM and will also be available via the ACM Digital Library.
