I'm currently a graduate student in Computer Science at
the University of Arizona.
I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science
with a supplementary major in Applied Mathematics from
New Mexico State University in 2006.
My
academic interests
include software engineering,
parallel and distributed computing, information organization and retrieval, and data visualization.
I currently
work as a (Software) Systems Engineer in Tucson, AZ.
I have a few
hobbies
and enjoy unwinding by having some
fun.
Some people know me as doofus, McDoofus, or doofusLARGE (hence the numerous references to
it throughout this website); others simply call me Steve. Read the history
