Tom has been with the lab staff since November of 2001. After 21 years in corporate IT - LANs, WANS, Databases, Security - he has adapted to the University environment. His specialty here is networking (both wired and wireless).
Tom received a B.S. and M.A. in Mathematics from the University of Kentucky (1976, 1978) and did some post-graduate teaching in his hometown of Charleston, WV.
His hobbies include home projects, hiking, music, and golf. He has a small network of PCs at home, but it doesn't consume him like the ones here.
