Biography

I was born and grew up in Iran where is the apparent birthplace of different types of arts, including music, poetry, weaving, architecture, calligraphy, etc. Before joining Internet Research Lab (IRL) in the University of Arizona, I earned my bachelor and master degrees in Engineering of Information Communication and Technology.

What long-term project do you want to work on?

Designing and Implementing an ICN-based CDN

What do you enjoy most about your work?

There is nothing more interesting than connecting people! With computer networks (e.g. the Internet) we can share thoughts, technologies, memories, and even feelings with each other. With no doubt, studying, dissecting, analyzing, and helping improve computer networks and especially the Internet is the most satisfactory and interesting fact of my work.

What are your career goals?

Mitigating the main inefficiencies and drawbacks of the current Internet by reconsidering its architecture and design
