Biography

I was born in the state of Oklahoma, U.S. where I attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University studying computer science. After graduation, I came to the University of Arizona for grad school.

What long-term project do you want to work on?

Adapting dimension reduction techniques to graph layout.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

Solving new and interesting challenges. Transforming abstract data into an understandable visualization.

What are your career goals?

To pursue my research interests and further our understanding of data visualization.

I have played music (trombone) for 15 years, and have participated in many classical and jazz ensembles, bands, and orchestras.
