Office: GS 718

Interests: Computer networks, wireless mobile networks, named data networking

Biography

I'm a continuing PhD student in Computer Science. I completed my B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering in 2015 from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), Bangladesh. I grew up in Dhaka city, the capital of Bangladesh.

Research Interests

I am interested in forwarding strategies using NDN in mobile wireless networks including mobile ad-hoc networks and vehicular networks. Currently working with Dr. Beichuan Zhang, focusing on architectural differences between NDN and IP in MANETs and DTN. Previously I worked on scheduling algorithms with network coding in vehicular ad-hoc networks during my undergrad research.

What long-term project do you want to work on?

I want to work on designing forwarding strategies using NDN in mobile wireless networks including mobile ad-hoc networks and vehicular networks.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

I enjoy most working with the complex problems introduced by mobility in wireless networks, the applications and scope of research in this area. I also enjoy working with the large group of scholars who work on NDN.

What are your career goals?

I plan to study more on wireless networks and continue research in this field.
