About Me

I joined the CS / ASO team in June of 2019. Prior to my role as Academic Advisor II, I was an Academic Advisor I in the College of Engineering Informatics and Applied Sciences at Northern Arizona University. I previously worked in the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada as a paraprofessional for eleven years. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and I am completing my Master's of Arts in Applied Anthropology from Northern Arizona University in Spring, 2020.

My primary role in the Academic Services Office is to advise students regarding information, procedures and academic requirements for the Computer Science major (BS and BA) and the Computer Science minor. Part of my role includes evaluating a student's academic abilities and partnering with students to set realistic and attainable goals. I also partner with the ASO team to present academic information to orientation groups, as well as prospective students and their parents.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family exploring Tucson, southern Arizona, northern Sonora, and southern New Mexico.
