Biography

I'm a 4th year Ph.D. student at the University of Arizona. I received my M.S. in Computer Science from Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing, China and my B.E. in Software Engineering from Northeast Normal University in Changchun, China.

​​​​​Research Interests

My current research interests are big data visualization, exploratory data analysis, machine learning and HCI. I also have research experience in computer vision during my master's program.

What long-term project do you want to work on?

I want to keep working on my current project, which is training neural networks to learn the structures of a dataset and then use it for information visualization.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

I like doing research in data visualization because I can directly see the results of my work.

What are your career goals?

I want to be a research scientist solving difficult problems in academic or industry labs.
