Research Interests

Natural language processing, Deep Learning,Fact Verification

What long-term project do you want to work on?

I would like to work on interpretability of neural networks.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

Work wise, along with the interesting aspect of understanding and then cracking an intangible problem, the impact it will have in making the world a better place. Work environment wise, the flat land. Our lab is like a family where we are encouraged to share ideas with anyone and everyone without any inhibition. This has led to some amazing discussions and publications.

What are your career goals

I want to try for a position in academia first. If that doesn't work out, I would like to join a well reputed research lab, in the government or private sector.

Tell us something interesting about yourself!

In 2005, I was invited by the then President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam for a dinner at his residence, the Rashtrapathi Bhavan.
