I'm a 3rd-year PhD student in the Computer Science Department at the University of Arizona. I'm doing research in High-Performance Computing under Dave Lowenthal. My current research project involves developing system software techniques for inter-job optimization on exascale systems. Specifically, I'm focused on inter-job network issues.

Previously, I did a study of inter-job network contention on dragonfly networks (unpublished draft here): Analyzing Inter-Job Contention in Dragonfly Networks

Background

I have a B.S. in Math and Computer Science from the University of Arizona.

In the summer of 2015 I worked as an intern with Google's Cloud Storage team in Seattle, WA. The following summer I returned to Google in Mountain View, CA, to work with the Google Play Store backend team. I've also done two summer internships at Intel in Chandler, AZ. I spent a summer doing math research here, and worked as a TA for Math 100 and for Math 425A through the Math UTA program.
