Brenna Carson
I moved to Tucson in 2024 and joined the Department of Computer Science team in 2025. I am originally from a small town near Grenoble, France, but am more recently from Colorado. I grew up in Colorado Springs and then attending college in Fort Collins. I obtained a BA in International Studies and French from Colorado State University in 2021. I then worked for a global non-profit organization before transitioning into this role in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Arizona.
What I am most passionate about is getting to know students and supporting them during their collegiate career. Every student’s journey looks different, and I am eager to serve as a helpful resource as they pursue their unique educational and professional goals. I am also eager to simply be a listening ear and a safe space for students to ask questions and explore next steps.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband (Hayden) and our family and friends, hiking and running, watching TV shows and movies, and reading. I love to cook and bake and am working on making the perfect chocolate chip cookie. Despite the warm Arizona weather, I love a hot drink and will never say no to a good cup of coffee or tea.
