I am a first-year PhD student in University of Arizona’s Department of Computer Science, advised by Professor Chris Gniady. I grew up in Tehran, Iran and got my Bachelor's degree there. Then, I worked for three years as a software developer in one of Iran's top-tier software companies. After that, I came to the U.S. and received my M.S. degree in computer science at the University of California, Santa Cruz. I started my PhD program at UofA in spring 2019.
I am interested in research in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotics. I am currently working on application of machine learning in healthcare.
