Visit the UA Computer Science Graduate Program

Interested in pursuing a graduate degree in Computer Science?  Want to know more about our graduate program?  Consider visiting us this fall.

Details

On November 15-16, 2019, we'll be hosting a prospective graduate student fall visit event.  Come visit us in Tucson and meet with faculty, graduate students, and staff.  During the trip, you'll get a chance to find out more information about the great research we do here, graduate student lifestyle, research laboratory tours, and what to expect during the application process.  You'll also get a chance to explore the University of Arizona and Tucson and learn more about living in sunny southern Arizona.

Can't make it?  No problem.  We'll be holding another visit during the Spring semester.

Please email gradadvising@cs.arizona.edu for more information about the program at any time.

Logistics

The event will be all day Friday, November 15, and we'll have recreational activities on Saturday, November 16.  Most attendees will travel on Thursday to arrive in Tucson Thursday evening, and schedule their return on Sunday.  See below for a tentative agenda.

If selected to attend, the costs of your trip will be covered by the Department of Computer Science.

How to Apply

Space is limited, so we are currently only considering students who meet our eligibility requirements:

  • Minimum GPA of 3.5
  • Strong CS background
  • Junior through senior in college, master’s student, or completion of a bachelor's degree
  • Located in the U.S.

Students interested in the MS program are welcome to apply, but we will prioritize students who are graduating this year and interested in the PhD program.
